Welcome to Solve Together Cubing
What happens when you give a kid a Rubik’s Cube and a little encouragement? You unlock focus, resilience, and the belief that they can solve anything. Solve Together Cubing is a youth-led volunteer initiative founded by Shaan Bhagia to bring the power of problem-solving to kids through the magic of the cube. From community centers to after-school programs, our team creates joyful learning experiences that build confidence—one turn at a time.
Shaan’s Story
What started as a childhood hobby turned into a movement. One afternoon in a summer camp, Shaan learnt how to cube and was instantly hooked. Over Covid, when he was 12, he wanted to help in some way and it took the form of online lessons to teach others and raise funds for Cocid relief efforts. He raised over $500 for UNICEF through online cubing camps during the pandemic which funded 2 hand pumps for water access in a village in Sudan. He was featured on KHOU Houston for his efforts. He went on to teach cubing at organizations like Nehemiah Center, BakerRipley, and India House, where he was honored as Youth Volunteer of the Year in 2024. With Solve Together, Shaan brought together a team of student volunteers to expand the impact—and reimagine what service can look like.
